Before beginning his career in real estate, Jim Bruske spent seven seasons pitching in Major League Baseball with the Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres, New York Yankees, and Milwaukee Brewers. The discipline, preparation, and competitive mindset he developed as a professional athlete continue to shape the way he serves his clients today.
For more than 23 years, Jim has helped buyers, sellers, and investors achieve their real estate goals throughout Greater Phoenix. Known for his strategic approach, strong negotiation skills, and calm demeanor, he guides clients through every stage of the buying and selling process with confidence and professionalism. His Major League career has fostered lasting relationships throughout the professional sports community, making him a trusted advisor to many athletes and their families as they buy, sell, and invest in Arizona real estate. Outside of real estate, Jim enjoys spending time on the golf course and taking advantage of Arizona’s year-round outdoor lifestyle. Although his children are now grown, he takes great pride in watching their careers flourish. His son serves as a pediatric physician in Colorado, while his daughter works as a traveling NICU nurse—careers that reflect the values of hard work, dedication, and service that have always been important to their family.
Having spent much of his life as part of a team—from seven seasons in Major League Baseball to more than two decades in real estate—Jim believes success is built on preparation, integrity, and showing up for others. He understands that a home is more than just a place to live; it’s where life’s most meaningful moments happen. That perspective shapes the way he serves every client—with integrity, thoughtful guidance, and a commitment to building relationships that last long after the transaction is complete.

As an Arizona native, Gretchen Baumgardner has a deep appreciation for the Valley and the lifestyle that makes the desert such a special place to call home. After earning her master’s degree in Art History, she spent several years in San Francisco as a corporate art consultant, helping curate and place artwork in corporate spaces. The experience sharpened her appreciation for architecture, design, and the details that make a space feel exceptional. She eventually returned home to Arizona to be closer to family, where she and her husband, Mike, built a life and raised their two daughters in the community they love.
Outside of real estate, Gretchen enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling to watch her oldest daughter compete on the Hope College softball team, and volunteering at Arcadia High School, where her younger daughter attends. Giving back has always been an important part of her life. She has proudly served on the Board of Directors for Children’s Cancer Network and the Family Advisory Council at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, supporting families facing childhood cancer. Whether she’s volunteering in the community or guiding clients through one of life’s biggest decisions, Gretchen believes that trust, kindness, and meaningful relationships are at the heart of everything she does.
